\nEn 2003 trabaj\u00f3 como Jefe de Anestesiolog\u00eda en el Hospital General del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS). Desde 2005 el Dr. Leyva trabaja en el \u00e1rea de Cirug\u00eda Pl\u00e1stica y Reconstructiva con la Dra. Carmina C\u00e1rdenas como parte del equipo Beauty Enhance. Anualmente, el Dr. Leyva imparte conferencias en la Federaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Anestesiolog\u00eda (FMCA), y contin\u00faa estudiando, manteni\u00e9ndose al d\u00eda con la \u00faltima tecnolog\u00eda en todas las \u00e1reas de la anestesiolog\u00eda.
